I’m New

Come and See Where You Belong
Adam Welcomes Visitors

At Second Baptist, expect to be greeted with open arms and friendly smiles. Here, you'll find a warm, welcoming community that's excited to celebrate Jesus' love with you.

Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here. From the moment you walk through our doors, we want you to feel comfortable, loved and included.

When you arrive, let one of our greeters know you’re new, and they can help you and your family find a Sunday School class or a comfy pew.

After the service, Pastor Adam would love to meet you.

Sunday Mornings

  • What to Expect

We combine different music styles for a meaningful experience for all. The words to songs will appear on the screen. An offering will be collected during the service. Only give if you feel want to. We take Communion quarterly to remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. You don’t have to be a member to take Communion, but should profess faith in Christ.

  • Times and Parking

All ages meet for Sunday School at 9:30 am and Worship from 10:45 am - 12:00 pm. Don’t worry about dressing up, just come as you are.

We have a large parking lot across the street and handicap parking directly in front of the building. The entrance is through the center set of doors marked “Auditorium.”

Sunday Mornings for Children and Students

  • Sunday School

    9:30 am - 10:30 am

Sunday School for Newborn to 6th grade:

Children participate in fun activities that include Bible lessons and scripture memorization. The kids play games and have the chance to learn about Jesus in kid-friendly ways.

    Sunday School for 7th - 12th grade:

Students learn from a relatable curriculum that connects teens to God’s Word and each other. They will come to understand theological truths at their level. Beyond the classroom, students learn to live out their faith and become more like Jesus.

  • Worship Together

    10:45 am - 12:00 pm

All children and students are welcome and encouraged to worship with their church family. Children will be invited forward for a “children’s moment” with the pastor. Childcare is available for newborns and toddlers during the service.

Our greeters will help you find the right classrooms and get kids securely checked-in. Our staff and volunteers have a heart for bringing kids to Christ. We are intentional in our preparation and delivery to give kids and students a space to feel safe, welcome and loved.
